[Korea] Seoul Fringe Festival 2013 to start August 29

From August 29 through September 14, the Seoul Fringe Festival 2013 will provide a showcase of unique and crowd-pleasing performances around Hongdae (Hongik University Street) and the Seoul World Cup Stadium.

The Seoul Fringe Festival, an independent arts festival held annually, is celebrating its 16th year with a variety of events. Approximately 140 performers comprised of individual artists and members of arts organizations will present a range of performances in the genres of theater, dance, multi-genre and traditional Korean performances. Foreigners will be able to enjoy the festival as well since most of the performances can be appreciated through facial expressions, gestures, and music.

Outdoor performances are all free of charge while admission to indoor performances, which will be held in small theaters, ranges from 10,000 to 20,000 won.
