Parts of Seoul transform into movie theaters for two weeks!

The Seoul Citizen Film Festival 2013 will run from August 16 to 30, 2013 in various locations around the city of Seoul, including the Floating Island in Seocho-gu, World Cup Park in Mapo-gu, and Cheonggyecheon Stream in Jung-gu.

Inaugurated for the first time, the Seoul Citizen Film Festival screens a total of 72 films in three different classifications under the common theme of "Times of Seoul, Eyes of the City". The featured films are of diverse genres including romantic comedy, documentary, and fantasy. The most notable feature of this festival is that it offers free screenings at outdoor venues.

Chase away the sweltering summer heat while enjoying free movie screenings around Seoul's parks, streams, and rivers.
