[Korea] Busan International Rock Festival kicks off August 2

The Busan International Rock Festival 2013 will take place in the vicinity of Samnak Riverside Sports Park, located in Sasang-gu, Busan-si from August 2 to 4.

Marking its 14th year, the Busan International Rock Festival has two major features: 1) the festival is aimed at the general public, not just at rock enthusiasts, and 2) the festival is free. 28 rock bands from five countries will be joining this year to show off their amazing performances. The lineup includes Stratovarius (Finland), Soil & “Pimp” Sessions (Japan), Dailyland Youth (U.S.), YB (Korea), Crying Nut (Korea), No Brain (Korea), and many more.

Moreover, famous DJ’s performances from home and abroad, as well as amateur rock bands will be performing at the festival. There will also be a singing contest for audiences to show off their vocal skills.
