The Korea House, a traditional Korean building that lets visitors experience traditional architecture and a classical atmosphere, is hosting a brand new Korean traditional performance called “Soaring II” from July 16 to August 14, 2013.
While its predecessor, Soaring I, showcased Korean traditional music and dance in an omnibus format combining the elements, Soaring Ⅱ is notable for its performers, who are either members of families that have passed the traditions down through the generations, or masters and disciples of Korean traditional music and dance. Pansori (Korean opera), daegeum (Korean flute), and minyo (folk song) performances will be incorporated in the show.
Every Soaring II show provides visitors with two kinds of traditional genres. Admission is 50,000 won for all seating. Further inquiries can be made by phone.
