The Jangheung Jeongnamjin Water Festival 2013 will take place in the vicinity of Tamjingang River and Pyeonbaek Forest Woodland located in Jangheung-gun, Jeollanam-do from July 26 to August 1.
The theme for this year is “Water and Forest Relaxation” and the festival, already on its 6th year, will offer plenty of summer and water-themed events where visitors can enjoy a multitude of fun and exciting summer games and activities. With water as the main concept, the festival aims to communicate the importance of water to people and the environment through vibrant exhibits, videos, etc. Other water-themed attractions at the festival include a natural medicinal herb pool, water bikes, canoes, rafts, boats, bare-handed fishing, and more. Changing rooms and shower facilities will be available at the venue.
Beat the summer heat by taking part in the cool and refreshing festivities at the Jangheung Jeongnamjin Water Festival. Admission to the festival is free of charge.
