R-16 Korea 2013: World B-Boy Masters Championship will finally kick off at the Olympic Hall located inside Olympic Park in Songpa-gu, Seoul on July 13 and 14, 2013.

R-16 is now on its 7th year and despite its shorter history compared to other global b-boy competitions, it has already evolved into a massive event comparable with the four biggest international b-boy championships* like Battle of the Year (France), UK B-Boy Championships (U.K.), Freestyle Session (U.S.A.), and Red Bull BC One (South Korea). B-boys who passed the preliminaries held from March to June in twenty countries worldwide including Europe, America, Japan, Southeast Asia and China will compete against each other for the title of World Champion during the two day event in Korea on July 13 and 14. Aside from the b-boying finals, competitions in two other categories – locking and popping – will also be taking place. R-16 honorary ambassador Jay Park will even take to the stage to show off his b-boy dance moves.

Other events taking place during the championship period include the Graffiti Festival, a street market, and other hip-hop cultural experience programs at the Olympic Park outdoor plaza. Admission to R-16 Korea 2013 is 50,000 won for R seats, 20,000 won for S seats, 10,000 won for A seats and 20,000 won for standing areas.
