Color Me Rad 5K, a running event where runners get coated in Color Bombs* throughout the race, will take place at Seoul Sports Complex (Jamsil Sports Complex), in Songpa-gu, Seoul, on July 20, 2013.

Founded by an American organization in 2012 to raise money for charity, Color Me Rad is a 5-kilometer race where both adults and children alike run or walk and get bombed with a different color at each section. The spirit of the event is more about fun and enjoyment than competition. Runners start the race with a white t-shirt. Along the course of the race, members of the Color Bomb Squad Team will add a new explosion of color at each station. This creates a multitude of vivid color combinations from thousands of people.

Online registration for the race is available on Color Me Rad’s official website ( and the participation fee is 40,000 won.

*Color Bombs – non-toxic, non-rash-inducing colored cornstarch
