[Korea] Haeundae Sand Festival 2013 starts June 7

Haeundae Sand Festival 2013 will take place at areas around Haeundae Beach, in Haeundae-gu Busan-si from June 7 to 10, 2013.

Marking its 9th year, the festival will have impressive sand sculptures with a movie theme. There will be 32 different programs divided into three categories: performances, exhibits, and hands-on activities. Sculptors will bring to life popular movie characters such as Iron Man, King Kong and Charlie Chaplin. Furthermore, there will be a parade, sand sculpture building, sand sledding, rock concerts, and a lot more.

Haeundae Beach, one of the most famous tourist attractions in Korea, has been hosting the Haeundae Sand Festival since 2005 and has attracted numerous domestic and international visitors. The festival lasts four days and is full of activities. Admission is free.
