The Seoul Metropolitan Government has organized special performances to be held at Children’s Grand Park on May 24 and 25, 2013. During these two days, free ballet performances will take place at the 8,000-seater Outdoor Concert Hall.

On the first day, Universal Ballet, one of top professional ballet teams, will perform their representative performance "Shim Chung*". The Seoul Ballet Theatre will be on the stage with "After the Rain", "BEING Ⅱ, and "Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland" on the second day. Each group will be featuring a special version of their performances to complement the outdoor stage setting.

The cool spring weather is the perfect time to enjoy outdoor performances like these at the park. Admission to Children’s Grand Park and the ballet performances are all free of charge.

*Shim Chung – a creative ballet performance derived based on a classic Korean folktale called Simchoengjeon. This performance has been staged more than 200 times at home and abroad since 1986 and has gained worldwide acclaim.
