[Korea] Free ‘Traditional Eastern Medicine Experience’ at Namsangol Hanok Village

The “Traditional Eastern Medicine Experience” will be carried out at Namsangol Hanok Village, in Jung-gu, Seoul from May 15 to July 20 four times a week.

This program has taken place annually since 2010 in order to boost medical tourism in Seoul. International visitors are able to try some traditional Korean medical treatments such as checking your body’s constitution*, acupuncture treatments, and more. Other hands-on programs will be available for visitors as well, including sampling traditional Korean medicinal teas and making traditional Korean medicinal soaps. There will be a medical team and English, Japanese, and Chinese interpreters to assist international visitors.

This program will be a special opportunity to experience traditional Korean medicine in traditional Korean houses (hanok). Admission is free of charge.

*Constitution: The inborn features of health and nature of the body according to Eastern medicine.
