[Korea] Hadong Wild Tea Cultural Festival Begins May 17

Hadong Wild Tea Cultural Festival 2013, one of Hadong’s major festivals, will take place at areas around the Hadong Tea Culture Center in Hwagae-myeon, Hadong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do for 3 days from May 17 to 19.

Marking its 18th year, the festival aims to educate domestic and international visitors about Hadong’s specialty teas such as wild teas and green teas. 51 programs have been organized for visitors to take part in including tea ceremonies, picking tea leaves, concerts, magic shows, and more. A food market will be set up on the festival grounds for visitors to taste and/or purchase tea-related food items.

For a warm spring day filled with the aroma of tea, head on over to the Hadong Wild Tea Cultural Festival. Admission to the festival is free of charge.
