The Incheon Development & Tourism Corporation is holding the “Incheon-China Culture Tour Festival” at Jayu Park and Incheon Chinatown on May 3-5.
The festival takes place in conjunction with the Chinese Labor Day holiday that took place on April 29 – May 1. It will provide a chance to try on traditional Korean and Chinese clothes and see traditional Korean and Chinese martial arts and cultural performances. Other programs such as a magic show, parade, Hallyu exhibition, and Chinese and Korean food samplings will also take place. The biggest draw may be the performances from K-pop bands such as 4MINUTE, DAVICHI, and Jewelry.
Also, on May 5, a “Multicultural Festival” will take place at the Incheon Art Platform, which is located near Chinatown, to wish for a successful hosting of the “17th Asian Games INCHEON 2014.” During the festival, multicultural performances and a parade with participants from 5 countries will be presented.
