The Korea Tourism Organization (visitkorea.or.kr) recently filmed a 2013 Korea Tourism commercial with an appearance by YouTube sensation Psy.
This year, the ad introduces viewers to Korea through “Psy’s Wiki Korea.” In the commercial, Psy employs wit to introduce major attractions including Samgyeopsal (pork belly), Jeju Olle Walking Path, and Myeongdong. Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) produces yearly commercials to promote Korea as a tourist destination.
The commercial will air in May on major international media outlets. The ad is already stirring curiosity over how the charms of Korea will compare with Psy’s presentation.
