2013 Festival of Daegaya Experience will be held from April 11-14.
The Festival of Daegaya Experience is held every year to introduce the culture and history of Daegaya Kingdom (Great Gaya 42-562 CE). Visitors can participate in 43 different hands-on activities in 13 categories every day of the festival. Activities include an introduction to Daegaya cultural relics, walking along the Daegayasanseong Fortress Wall, experiencing the everyday lives of people of Daegaya, and making Daegaya accessories. The festival will also host performances such as Madanggek (Korean traditional outdoor performance) and gugak (traditional music) concerts.
In January, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism designated the Festival of Daegaya Experience as one of 42 premier 2013 Culture Tourism Festivals.
