Marking its 15th anniversary, Gimhae National Museum’s Permanent Exhibition Hall (Galleries I & II) will embark on a nine month renovation project from April 1 through December 8.
The Permanent Exhibition Hall displays prehistoric cultural artifacts from the Nakdonggang River basin and relics from Gaya*. The renovation project is meant to upgrade its amenities in order to better accommodate the numerous collections from excavations and results from archaeological research.
During the renovation period, other facilities in the museum including Children’s Museum and Outdoor Exhibition will be open as usual.
