Gyeongju National Museum’s “Saturday Museum Tour,” an English tour guide program, is receiving an enthusiastic response from participants.

The tour guide program began in the autumn of 2005 and has since operated exclusively for foreign visitors with the aim of introducing Korean culture and history to the world. A tour guide leads foreign visitors around the museum’s exhibition halls and gives an explanation in English about the works, in addition to fielding questions from participants.

The Saturday Museum Tour is scheduled to run through November 30 this year and is free of charge. Any foreigners who visit the museum on a Saturday can participate. Tours start at the main entrance of the museum at 13:00.
