ANIMPACT MAX, the annual international animation film festival, is taking place until December 2nd at the Seoul Animation Center.
Marking its 7th year, the festival will play a total of 207 animation films from 33 countries divided into two categories: Competition and Invitation. In addition, the festival will introduce 128 productions that have won awards at this year’s world-renown animation film festivals including the Annecy International Animated Film Festival (Festival International du Film d’Animation d’Annecy), International Animation Festival Hiroshima, and Ottawa International Animation Festival. Moreover, visitors will have a chance to participate in an open discussion with animation film masters like Phil Mulloy of the United Kingdom, Yamamura Koji of Japan, and Yuval Nathan of Israel.
Tickets to the film screenings are available for purchase both online and on site. They cost 4,000 won for adults and 3,000 won for teenagers and children.
