[Korea] Performing Arts Hall for Korean Performances Open in Seoul

A performing arts hall dedicated to promoting Korean culture through performances has opened inside Olympic Park in Songpa-gu, Seoul.

K-Art Hall is the new building with two floors aboveground and one underground that can seat up to 500 people in total. It is equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, and stages that can be turned into a proscenium or an arena stage depending on the performance. It also has such auxiliary facilities as a make-up room, rehearsal room, cafeteria, and storage lockers.

K-Art Hall will be holding performances with diverse genres such as Taekwondo and gugak (traditional music) throughout the year. Each performance will be chosen carefully after an audition.
