The Seoul Drone Challenge, which was originally planned for September 7, has been postponed to take place on October 12. The festival will be held at Gwangnaru Hangang Park under the slogan “All Drones in One Spot.” The festival is scheduled from 10:00 to 19:00, featuring events like drone demonstrations and drone flying experiences.
The opening ceremony consists of Drone Cluster Flight and a special performance, followed by Drone Launching Show and Drone Racing Competition. Drone Launching Show features a variety of drones on display, including industrial and commercial drones used for filming, agriculture, and measuring micro dust levels. Drone Racing Competition takes place in divisions of Steer Racing and Sprint Racing; the preliminary rounds and the finals for both contests will take place at the festival.
Visitors can also assemble and fly a drone during the Drone DIY program. The program requires a fee and those who are interested must register online by October 8 via the festival’s official website. Besides the Drone DIY program, visitors can also participate in drone soccer, drone fishing, and drone claw games.
