Introduction

This alluring traditional home, located in Yangdong Folk Village, measures four kan (ancient building area measurement unit corresponding to the space between two columns) on the front and two kan on the side. Travelers are treated upon arrival to a warm cup of complimentary tea, served on an old rustic wooden table at the hall. The small thatched-roof house adjacent to the main building is a restaurant with a well-furnished menu of traditional teas and liquors. Yi Ji-hyu, the landlord, is a poet and also a tourist guide, who is well versed in local history and culture.
